The tennis community (players and fans alike) were delighted with the announcement of Jamie Murray's 'Schroders Battle of the Brits' tournament which saw the top 8 British Men’s Players and top 6 Doubles Teams battle it out from 23rd-28th June at the NTC to be crowned “Best of British” Champion. This was also the first 'behind closed doors' tournament in our strange current climate and the organisers put on a fantastic event, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Tennis First were very proud that four of the top 8 players were past Grantees - Kyle Edmund, Liam Broady, Jack Draper and Jay Clarke - with Kyle going on to reach the final, narrowly losing to current British number 1, Dan Evans.

We look forward to seeing more of our Grantees - past and present - back on the court soon!
