Draper Wins in Sunderland

Former grantee Jack Draper won the Men’s 25k in Sunderland last week. He reached the final after beating three French opponents and without dropping a set. Jack had a convincing win in the final against Igor Sijsling 6-2, 6-0. This was Jack’s first title of 2020, well done.

In the women’s draw, Emma Raducanu reached the final before falling in three sets to number one seed Viktoriya Tomova 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. Emma moves up 44 spots to #332 on the WTA rankings.
